Welcome to the Miva Marketplace List Product Wizard. This wizard will help you list your products within the Miva Marketplace system.

To list a product within Miva Marketplace, you must choose the category or categories you wish the product to appear in, and specify how much you will pay each time a shopper clicks on your product. The position of your product within the selected categories is dependent on this per-click price. Products with higher per-click prices are displayed at the top of the category, and products with lower per-click prices are displayed at the bottom of the category.

To begin, enter the code of the product you wish to list with Miva Marketplace, and press the Next button.

Please select one of the options below:

  • Actively Listed indicates your product is listed and visible to shoppers.
  • Listed, Disabled indicates your product is listed, but will not be visible to shoppers. This allows you to temporarily remove a product from the system, while retaining your listing settings.

Products must be assigned to one or more Miva Marketplace categories. You may assign %product_name% to as many categories as you like.

Click the Select link below to display a new window that lists the Miva Marketplace categories.
In the Categories window:

  • Click the triangle next to a category to see the sub-categories.
  • Click Add Category only if no category or sub-category is appropriate for your product.
  • Select the category name to see its statistics:
    • Minimum price: You will need to enter a Price per Click greater than this amount to list your product in this category.
    • Number of products: the current number of products in this category
    • Number of attributes: the current number of product attributes in this category
    • Attributes: the percentage of products having each of the listed attributes For an attribute to be searchable, this percent must be at least 50%percent_char%
  • Check the box next to the category to which you want to assign your product.
  • When you finish assigning your product, click the Submit button.

Your chosen category(ies) are displayed below. To add or remove categories, click the Select link again.

Your product position within each category is determined by the per-click price. This is the amount you will pay each time a shopper clicks on your product.

Products with higher per-click prices are displayed at the top of the category, and products with lower per-click prices are displayed at the bottom of the category. Products in the top 10 positions of a category will tend to be seen by many more shoppers than products "below the fold."

Please enter a per-click price, and press the Next button. You will then be shown the relative positioning of your product within your selected categories.

The Placement Table below shows the statistics for your selected category(ies), and the position of %product_name% within those categories.

  • Click on a link in the Placement column to preview your product's placement and nearby products.
  • To change your placement, click the Previous button and enter a new per-click price.
  • Once you are happy with the placement of your product, press the Next button.

If you want to change an entry, click the Previous button to go back.
