A Knight and His Weapons. Ewart Oakeshott. One of the best intros to the subject written especially for teens & kids.

Sword in Hand. Ewart Oakeshott. A good study of Medieval swords.

In the Time of Knights by Shelley Tanaka. Scholastic, 2000. Children's Choice Book Award. An excellent illustrated guide to knighthood and Medieval culture and combat.
