Hi, I just recently submitted my application to join ARMA as an associate member. I have always been an avid historian and have been involved in American Civil War living history since 1989, but I am still very much a novice when it comes to Medieval & Renaissance History and the martial arts of the period. Yet, I do have an honest and sincere interest and desire to learn more about the period as well as historically accurate swordsmanship. I live over on the Eastern Shore of Virginia (about an hour south of Salisbury, MD and and hour north of Virginia Beach, VA). Does anyone know of any study groups available in my area? I viewed the practice partners list the other day and came across ARMA Virginia Beach, but was unable to contact them through the email address provided as it appears not to be working at the moment. Does anyone know how else I might contact them? Any help would be most appreciated.

Sincerely,

Bob Savage

I know this is 5 months or so late <img src="/forum/images/icons/blush.gif" alt="" /> but I live in Corvallis Oregon (between Salem and Eugene) If that helps anyone.
