Keith Ducklin has spent more than fifteen years as a practitioner of period fighting techniques, having studied with John Waller while training to be an actor. He taught dramatic combat at some of England's top drama schools until 1994, when he became involved with the development of the Interpretation Department at the Royal Armouries Museum. Since 1996 he has played a key role in executing the department's daily brief to bring alive the collection for the museum's visitors. He has performed in full 15th-century plate armour before both Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Charles, demonstrated medieval sword techniques for the priests and visitors of the Nikko Toshogu shrine in Japan, and appeared on several occasions before the International Association of Military and Arms Museums and the International Medieval Congress. He has given seminars in the USA for the Higgins Armory Museum in Worchester, Massachusetts,and ARMA, and holds an honorary ARMA Provost ranking. In 2001 he was invited by John Clements to development the ARMA professional stage-combat program, ARMA InTheater.

On TV/film he has recently displayed his acting and fighting skills in: Masters of Defence; EuroDisney's Time after Time; Arms in Action Series I and II; and is presently working on the supernatural action thriller Hellbent. He is an accredited teaching member of the British Academy of Dramatic Combat, and a member of British Actors Equity.
