I am working my way through the videos and am very impressed. Excellent intro material. My hat off to the narrator... I dont think I could pronounce or speak that fast on any subject.

Brian,

Thanks - I saw detailed specs on your dagger from your site. I beleive you are the manufacturer of Stew's "darth vader" helm & I saw that at the columbus 1.0 - pretty impressive.

I'll give it a try and if I dont like it mayhaps I'll put in an order.

Brian,

What dimensions should the dagger's be? I have the mats to make both waster and padded and might try my hand at it.

Thanks,
Nate

Stew Feil taught the NTP1.0 I attended earlier this year and after watching how hard it is to strike him wielding a 10-12" buckler....

No doubt about the protection a round shield offers.

For those that couldn't make it, keep in mind that the next event like this will probably happen in much less than 4 years and very likely in the two. Please plan ahead. Also, if you get the opportunity to attend a regional event, do it. You owe it to yourself to experience what it's really like to...

Paul, you should move to the States... you would make an amazing politician. I came to ARMA because their philosophy was not flowery speech or fancy titles but the utilitarian study of RMA. I don’t see how this approach does anything but give legitimacy to ‘the art’?

Richard Halliburton

I found this excerpt online from a book by Richard Halliburton that I thought was interesting. ________________________________________ American adventurer Richard Halliburton (1900-39) reported meeting the Khevsoor in 1935 in what is now the Republic of Georgia. He claimed to have detected fragment...

Excellent editorial, it brought me back to the days of taking my first western civilization class. Although it was only a community college and I was still in high school, many class long debates ran a similar course to this whole thread. The professor showed me why JC and Brandon Paul Heslop’s argu...

Hello everyone, I just wanted to chime in on this one. In 1415 Henry V of England faced Charles d'Albret of France at the Battle of Agincourt. At this time in France's history, the mounted warrior reigned supreme on their battlefields. The knights were also driven mad by class pride, it was honor t...

And also consider... does he really have to chase the un-armored guy?

And what would posses someone who could afford decent armor to not ALSO have a decent ranged weapon or a mount with him? Does the runner intend to say a few hundred yards ahead of the armored guy?
