I would say Ringeck's longsword section by Lindolm. You have to ignore the interpretations but the translation is simple and straightforward. Also go by the original order. Lindolm decided to reorganize the matierial for some reason.

Re: Principle and Concept-based Biomechanical Arts

I would suggest some sparring swords instead of the toys. Steel blunts or wasters are for freeplay/sparring.

And unless your actual name is Arthurs Armory, you need to change it per forum rules.

A Russian Martial Art dates to the 10th century(or earlier), but Systema does not.

Systema dates to the early 20th century. Let's not begin fabricating Martial Arts histories like the majority of Eastern Arts do.

We do need some videos of cutting from kron. It has been discussed before and i'm sure they will be made. Here are some thoughts. The head is the most sought after target and then the hands(forearms). The head in particular does not require a lot of power to kill or disable the man and render him in...

A wooden axe waster is likely to be a bit more dangerous than a sword waster, so a compromise my group worked out (when it still existed) was to use some foam (the kind used to make shoe/sandal soles) to form the axe's head and glue it to the haft/handle. It's quite simple; a large chunk shaped lik...

If we are talking strictly unarmed, In my opinion is the best option is MMA,It has a few rules sure but from an unarmed standpoint it is the best thing out there. One of the main benefits is the sparring, which a lot of the more "realistic systems" either don't have or they wear so much pa...

...that isn't good sword play they (Selohaar) teach...the methodology and interpretation of the manuals are very dodgy Have you ever trained with one of the Selohaar groups? Many of their interpretations can be found, but I haven't seen where any of them speak on *how* they train. I have seen membe...
