thank you sir.
now, you did mention " (if you don't have access already, you must request it from the ARMA Director)." seeing as I am still a study group of one, what are the chances of this and other info being made available to me?

footwork excercises

please help....needing info on where to find instruction on footwork technique. as im still by myself, detailed description is very much needed; video would be helpful as well but written instruction with diagrams would be preferred.

John,
great video. would be interesting to see how a shield wall would hold up to a flamberge (sp) armed shock-squad.

thanx john
not a lot to go on, but good info anyway. i suppose 'winging it' would be my best option going against a fully shielded opponent?

ah yes.... the "how sharp does the blade need to be" debate. i agree that the fightng swords edge would be more prone to damage w a thinner edge (but a double bevel just looks so pretty on a blade), but what about the smaller blades in the dagger category? ive a few kitchen knives that are...

having your sword be as historically accurate as possible is imperative.

whats gonna be a good place for a good accurate piece? theres some of the cold steel products that look like they'd be good for practice but if you have any other suggestions i'd like to hear. thanx matt

defining the double bevel edge

need some clarification here. when an edge is said to be a "double bevel", are they referring to a ginsu type edge where part of the metal is shaved (for lack of a better term) away and then the final edge runs along the top of that? and if that is the case, would it or would it not actual...
