I have been looking on the internet for quite a while and cant find any info or pictures on 14th or 15th century French armor I mainly find German Burgundian and Italian armor which have a lot of similarities in appearance, but had beautiful differences. I am interested in doing WMA and don't know whether to start with a longsword or arming sword to get the basics of swordplay down. I have purchased a fechtbuch by Christian Henry Tobler That focuses on longsword but also has sections on Sword and Buckler, wrestling and half-swording. Any assistance ...
