I heard some one discribed that side sword[cut and thrust sowrd] had two sorts of.One kind is mainly for thrusting,they had narrow and thick blades, another is mainly for cutting,they had wide blades.

Is that true????

How would be the result if infantries used rapier & dag

If infantries used rapier and dagger in the war or battle field,hou would the results be when against other one handed swords or two handed swords during 1500-1700? But these all depended Under the premise of the infantries were all very good at the rapiers and daggers.

Will it be nealy useless?

Questions about bringing a rapier to war.

How is the effecitve and results if a infatry carried a rapier or a rapier with main gauche to battle field to against other wider blade swords and cold armes during the age 1500-1700? If i can use a rapier very well,can it take it to war as a major cold armes? IF i can use a rapier with main gauche...
