Wooden or synthetic waster?

Hey guys, im about to buy my first longsword waster and having troble deciding between the wooden or synthetic. Id love to hear what you guys have to say about this.

Well if anyone in columbia, MO stumbles across this thread and has some intrest in forming a study group please contact me, I currently have one other person here who is very interested in starting a group, but we would love to get in contact some others who have a strong intrest in this in our area.

I am also in columbia Mo looking for people with similar intrests, but i have not been able to meet anyone with intrest in this sort of thing.
