Who, that messer looks nasty. Kinda reminds me of those elven swords in LotR, probably where they got the idea from.

Good point, I hadn't considered that. Same thing happens in archaic english. Oh well, I guess in that case spelling doesn't matter too much, as long as other people can understand what we're talking about.

I haven't been studying long enough to contribute to the conversation. And I don't mean to seem petty or nitpicking, and I don't want anyone to be offended, but I just thought you may be interested that the words shlaudern and gayslen are actually spelled "shläudern" and "geiseln"...
