Thank you, I appreciate all the info. I understand the logic behind not using such a weapon. It is an interesting concept though, and I'll still use it in my book. I can certinally understand the effectiveness of a staff in self defense, but I would not want to carry one into battle against armored ...

Quarter staff's have all the killing power you will ever need Oh. That seems quite quantrary to what I have always believed.
