Hi all. I will be moving to the Birminghan area (Pelham, actually) in early June, and will be looking to start a study group. Anyone who is interested, please PM me. I have been studying with the Provo, UT group for a little better than 2 1/2 yrs. under the tutaledge of Jake Norwood (until he left us, the SOB ) and Stew Feil, so I like to think I'm worth practicing with. I look forward to hearing from you.

I think there is an active WMA group in Birmingham which studies under the auspices of one of the other schools....

Thanks Jake, I think I'm going to blush.

Jeanry: any contact info? Perhaps I can turn them away from the dark side.

light... dark... whatever, as long as I win.

seriously though, the martial intent inherent in the ARMA method and philosophy is what I love. If I can't turn them, maybe I can get some good practice on them before they get tired of losing to me. I know that sounds cocky but my confidence comes from my belief in the ARMA way, not from my bloated ego. (well, maybe it's a little bit ego )
