Greetings

Postby Joseph P. Tata » Wed Aug 31, 2005 2:12 am

Greetings everyone. I just want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Joseph Tata and I live in Bel Air, MD. I am interested in the all facets of historical martial arts from many cultures around the world. I have a fairly extensive background in EMA but have only dabbled informally in WMA despite my lifelong fascination. I've decided now is a good time for me to explore this area more fully.

If there is a study group or any indviduals in the northern MD area who would be willing to train with me I would be greatly appreciative. Otherwise I welcome suggestions for research and solo training ideas.

PS: I am most interested in Longsword, Rapier, Staff and Unarmed fighting, though all aspects of martial culture interest me.

Hi Joseph, and welcome.

sorry I can't help with knowledge about training partners in MD, but it is good to see someone with a interest in this art.

Good luck with your training
