Newbie Help

Postby Ray Brunk » Thu Jan 23, 2003 8:35 pm

Hello,
I am a complete newbie to the western martial arts. I have read Medieval Swordmanship, studied Records of the Medieval Sword, and have been reading as much info as I can handle on the ARMA website.(have not found the members area yet for study sheets). I have recently purchased a good replica sword and longsword waster, and ordered Martial Arts Of Rennaissance Europe. I would like to start training but have no idea where to start. Unfortunately I have not found a partner to train with as of yet. I plan on attending a workshop or two this year, but would like to get started now. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. If someone would be kind enough, please let me know if I am on the right track(head is about to explode with all the info)
Thank You all,
Ray
