Have any of you guys used the padded swords made by purple heart armory? if so what is the assesment?

How about their wasters?

And what about a group called "Wooden Weapons" they have several wasters they claim are "ARMA approved" is this true?

Purple Heart Armories and all of its products and services have been BOYCOTTED by ARMA due to their despicable treatment of ARMA members in past bussiness.

Wooden weapons wasters aren't great, but they're better than nothing. Recently, their customer service has gotten pretty terrible, and they frequently take a long time to fill orders.

I'd suggest you look at New Stirling Arms or Raven Studios.

I should get my NSA waster tomorrow from Ernie Perez, who had placed an order to New Stirling Arms for our study group. I have a couple of HollowEarth great sword wasters but I have not been happy with their balance and feel. On the other hand, I love my cut & thrust sword from HollowEarth.

We've long had our own inside view: inferior workmanship on wasters, deplorable and unethical business practices, and correspondingly despicable people. Hence, no love for ARMA.

Definitely NSA & Raven wasters as well as Hollowearth’s are of better quality and design, plus better value for your money. Their links are on our site here.

As to PHA’s padded weapons, I found them poorly conceived, handled clumsily, were laughably overpriced, and did nothing to reflect the realism we seek in free-play.
