What do we have on tactics (including images)

Thinking of military movements where both sides are using melee weapons only. Do we have any resources that include graphic depiction of how a tactition would orginize his men? Keep me posted, thanks.

A few commonly available places to start:

The Art of War, Niccolo Machiavelli (a renaissance discussion on the topic)

The Military Institutions of the Romans (De Re Militari), Vegetius (roman, but a standard tactical handbook throughout the medieval period)

The Book of Deeds of Arms and of Chivalry, Christine de Pizan (another medieval book on the arts of war)

Strategikon, Maurice (from the byzantines)
