Best Price on a 3-W fencing Mask

Postby Andy Spalding » Sat Dec 09, 2006 9:26 am

Hey, new member, and my first time contributeing to the forum. I have read quite a bit of discussion about the merrits of the 3-w masks, and would like to provide a link to the best masks on the market today.

http://shop.fencing.net/product_p/afg-11001.htm

These fencing masks are put out by Absolute Fencing and are the best quality for the money i have ever seen. I help instruct fencing at Murray State university so i have alot of experence with many types of mask. These are the best as far as fencing masks go.

The bib is extra padded to give protection on neck shots. The mesh is the strongest i have seen so far. The stiching is strong and can stand up to alot of punishment. All in all, these are the most durable masks i have found for less than a fortune.

The fine craftmanship of the higher qualitiy masks will always be useful but, personally i would not want to subject my expensive, compitition quality mask to the blows i would recieve sparing.

I have had alot of experience with triplette and found them to be the best company around for fencing supplies, and i still shop with them for many things, but as much as i hate to say, these Absolute masks kick the crap out of anything along the same lines.

The durability make these great beat up masks and with a 45 dollar price tag, they are the best value around. So i know fencing masks have their drawbacks, but if you are lookin for one, i recommend these.

The ARMA North Siders have been using these mask's for almost a year now. They hold up great and are a good price. they also have a version that the whole inner bib comes out and can be washed. If it wears out, thay sell replacements. Here is the link
