If I'm lucky I might get to handle one before Christmas. :D

There's a post about this on MyArmoury as well, and someone there said that Mike at Albion mentioned you won't be able to get one until February if you didn't have it pre-ordered.

here's the thread: http://www.myarmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=8378

This sounds an awful lot like the WMA equivalent of PS3. Of course y'all could make it alot bloodier.

Oh yes! I can see one of those in my hands by by birthday in March. Time to start saving my pennies. (And quarters and dollar bills...)

Most yummy. I'm a little hesitant to order before I've read any feedback, but it is Albion, after all. I would be terribly shocked if it wasn't a fine product. I'm also eagerly anticipating The Marozzo.

Hi!
Dierk Hagedorn from Hammaborg has recieved one of those, as he informed us on a German MA forum as well as on SFI. He's likely to post a review there and those of you interested in the sword might want to contact him for his personal thoughts. I usually value those as highly as the most detailed stats.

Got one in hand

Postby Joe Fults » Wed Jan 24, 2007 6:49 pm

Pre-order pool was pretty deep.

Interesting handling and better finish than I expected for something that will probably get the snot beat out of it by most buyers. A bit more flex toward the tip than I expected, but that probably makes things safer. Don't really have anything to compare it against as far as a metal trainer goes. Defintely feels more like a sword than a waster.

Shipped product appears to be only superficially different than what they had you test. Makers mark and some detail on the cross, otherwise could be twins (from the photos).
