I'm considering a purchase of a Darkwood Armory sword and I'm wondering (as there are no full profile photos of the blade available on the site) about the dimensions of their sidesword blade. From what I can see in the photos on the site, the blade doesn't appear much broader than the rapier blades available from them, and I'm wondering if these blades really represent what is defined by ARMA as a cut-and-thrust sword. The profile of the blade is as follows:
1&1/4 inches wide tapering to about 1/2 inches in lengths between 30-38 inches.
Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to get this sword and then discover that it's inadequate for C&T practice.
