Anyone With Any Medical background or

Postby Max Lancaster » Wed May 16, 2007 3:09 pm

I have on my inner left wrist below the thumb a Small hard lump. Feels like bone. Its not a cyst....Does anyone one what this can be?
I lift weights and also practice WMA so I was wondering if I have hurt my wrist bone or what...It does not hurt..And I can still train and lift weights but if I push on it , it kinnda gets alittle  Any help would be helpful.
My medical insurance does not kick in for a few and a xray is like 1k...My personal trainer thinks the bone there is bruised.

I have taken waster shot's and had similar thing's on my wrist, It very well could be from sparring.

I have one on my right index finger. It's from a hard zornhau that I was too slow for, I think it bled inside and I didn't lance it. It doesn't bother me and I've noticed no change in 2 years. Honestly though if you don't know where it came from you should ask your doctor.
Respectfully,

Ben Smith

Max

Ask a medical doctor. All we can do is make very un-educated guesses.

Be easy,

Well yes, I've got a big knot on my right thumb that developed after a hard impact when sparring that seems to be permanent now. I suppose it's a calcified area on the bone. It doesn't bother me and I'm not concerned about it at all. I must point out however, that I'm not a medical professional and this is probably the wrong forum to be asking for medical advice/diagnosis :) .

Guys, this thread will be closed. We are not medical doctors, this forum is not about medicine and the possible dispensation of medical advice over the internet to people on this forum gives me the heebeejeebees (that's a medical term! :D )

Max - I second Randall's advice - see a qualified doctor.
