Did you mean 4W or is there an ARMA seminar in the works?

4W 2008 is Feb 15-17 in Seattle

I'm curious about this as well. I'm a little worried I won't hear about it in time, as the LV NTP never got a date posted. Any news on at least the month it will be in?

-Eric

P.S. I'm also beginning to worry my App won't be approved in time :?

There are two members and a possible third that would be interested in a Seattle NTP. Please try to keep us updated so that we can arrange for transportation and everything.

Jason, come by the study group when you get the chance. Perhaps we can car pool to keep costs down for everyone. Let us know.

Depending on how the date meshes with my thesis defense I might be able to go.

I have unfortunately been able to confirm that the earliest date on which I can attend the Seattle event is the last week of may, the weekend around the 30-31 would be best by far. June would be much better, but Andrew Ulrich and I can probably come if it is the last week of May.
Respectfully,

Ben Smith

You know Ben, pretty much anything works for me. But isn't the issue also with when Stew can actually get time off as well? Also, somethng about trying not to cross over on some other important event, but I don't recall what that was. Seems like we're still just juggling everyone's dates.

I'm still interested as well, but I do have school and work and would really like to know the date at least a month ahead of time. Also:

I've not yet had my application approved. If I were to show up at the seminar, would I be turned away?

There is the Academia Della Spada is hosting the 4W event this weekend. I almost registered, but changed my mind when I saw the cost involved. Is this the event you were thinking of?

4W? Yeah, was thinking of going to that too, but same for me with the extremely high cost. A few of us were thinking of going, but all backed out when we saw the price, and unlike a good ARMA event, the schedule for it is a mixed bag where you would never be able to attend every class. Maybe next time and I'll save up for it since there were at least two classes I was interested in attending.

But no, not the 4W. Christopher mentioned an ARMA event this Spring they were trying not to step on. Plus getting Stew and Ben out of their classes at the same time. It's apparently a scheduling nightmare. I believe the rest of us are all good to go (with as you say a little forewarning), but without those two it would be a non-event.

Hang in there, something will shake loose soon.
Cheers!
Ken
