New guy in California introducing myself

Postby Nathan_Cometa » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:35 am

Hey guys i just wanted to introduce my self. I am interested in learning the ways of Renaissance swordsmanship so i thought i would come here. I have no real experience except for maybe a little fencing at the YMCA. I do a friend that is very into the scene. He is history major who loves weapons and he has competed for the SCA going to Estrella before. I hope i can learn a lot here and make new friends.

Cheers!

Hello Nathan welcome to the forum. We have one study group that I know of right now in California. They practice in Tustin, CA. A bit of a drive for you I think but if you are able to make it to one of our practices we would love to have you as we are always looking for new members. We practice on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 a.m at a sports park in Tustin, CA. I am a member of the group despite the fact that I live in Pomona, CA in Los Angeles County and they are in Orange County. If you have any questions about our study group feel free to private message me on the forum or if you just have questions in general feel free to make a post here on the forum as there are many very knowledgeable folks here that I am sure would be more then willing to help you out with your questions. Good luck, and again, welcome to the forum.
Orange County, CA Arma
