What I am in Law Enforcement? Yes, I knew he was Joking Craig no sweat-
As a side topic, I was discussing some more training info with another Member, and he asked me what was the most important thing he could do to improve his abilities.
Knowing him, and who he is, I told him he needed to shed a few lbs, like about 8-10 lbs. I know that sounds silly but that 8-10lbs translates into much better stamina and ease of movement.
He is not a guy who is obese or anything at all, just a little "hefty" if you will, but that very heft can really slow you down. In my own expirences I can really tell the diffrence between 5 extra lbs of chub..it does affect movement to a surprising degree, and while you will adapt to it, my advice as a serious Scholar is to identify it and then work on it, do not just work around the issue, zap that chub with a little areobic activity as well as your sword drills.
Ideally, it would be two seperate and distinct workouts, sword work in the AM, running, biking, etc in the PM....and watching what you eat.
Now that us Northerners are coming out of this terrible winter, (southerners don't really have winter!), we are all probably carrying just a tad more weight than we do in the summer-zap it for improved performance on the hilt! - AP
