Hello Folks,
Well since I was unable to attend the Ohio training day, ARMA-Twin
Cities, and ARMA-Appleton planned a last minute get-together and
training day.
Before anything else is discussed- Congrats to ARMA-Twin Cities
Study Group Leader and new Scholar-Adept Steven Pangrel!
Steven has impressed me in many ways, first his personal skills have
vastly improved, and every time I get together with him and train he
is always better than the last time, a sure sign of continued self
improvement and dedication. His flourisching is now first rate, and
his abilities to train using good energy and speed and footwork are
all in place.
I am glad to see ARMA-Twin cities back up and moving forward!
He also has recruited a new Member, John- (I'll let you introduce
yourself John, so I don't mispell your last name)-John is sincere in his approach to this subject, asking the right questions and for the
right reasons. I am gald for both of them as they will improve together.
This session was geared towards helping them improve the training partner relationship.
I introduced them to some expanded feeling/pressure drills and
exercises, that I will demo at the IG. I also focused this session
on going from zufechten range into ringen range and some addition
concepts related to range.
I sparred with John a bit which was his first time sparring with a
Senior Member, which he enjoyed quite a bit.
Herb Dombroski joined us and was his normal supportive self. Herb
also continues to improve on may levels, and I enjoyed watching Herb
training with John and showing me his abilities as a trainer-
Nice Job to everyone, and thanks for making the trip-! AP
