Study Group in the Sacremento Area?

Postby John Kurnett » Fri Mar 04, 2011 11:21 pm

I just found out about ARMA today, and I'm psyched about it. I always wanted to learn about sword-fighting, but could never find a group or organization for it near me. I live in the Sacremento area, close to Roseville. I was wondering if anybody has a study group near there, because the closest I could find was a group several hours away. I may have missed one, but I don't think I did...

On a related note, where do people get equipment for sparring and stuff? Do you buy it online, or what? Secondly, what would I need?

Looking at the practice partners page it looks like ARMA has someone is Sac, I’ll have to add that to my list of North CA people!

So try getting ahold of Anthony first.

There is also a school that is studying later period sword work, more Classical Italian Fencing/Spanish Rapier: Sacramento Sword School.

Sorry about my username; I've fixed it now.

There's already a group near Sacramento? I must have missed that one on the list. Thanks!

Sorry about the double post, but I emailed the address on the study group list, and nobody has emailed back. Its been a half a week since I emailed him. The address is current, right?
