ATrim I-Beam blunt - reviewer needed

Postby Tom Kinder » Thu Apr 07, 2011 9:49 pm

I am looking for someone (preferably in the cont. USA) to write an unbiased review for the ATrim I-beam longsword training blunt.

I ask that any interested parties be an active member of a practice group that will use the sword in live steel practices at full speed according to the conventions of your art and group, that you be willing to take a few pictures and write about your impressions and experiences with the sword.

Unfortunately since a training sword cannot really be sold after such testing I will ask the reviewer to purchase the sword, HOWEVER it will be offered to you at cost + shipping.

I hope this does not violate the no-advertising policy here as that is not my intention. I am seeking a qualified person to help me test a product.

any interested persons can email us at triedandtruearmory@gmail.com. Just tell us who you are and that you are interested in this offer and we'll give you more details.

I would like to thank ARMA in general for being a place that I have found most rewarding and informative over the years I have spent here mostly lurking.

Thank you all, and if this is not in keeping with policy then you have my deepest apologies and I ask that this topic be removed promptly

Sincerely,
Tom Kinder

Update: we posted our offer with several boards and the response was larger that I'd have ever imagined, so much so that there's no way we could find the time to respond to every email. a prospective reviewer has been chosen but the deal is not yet 100% final.

I'd like to thank everyone for your interest and if you didn't hear from us it isn't that we didn't take you seriously but that there were so many good candidates it took all the time we could muster just to select one.

hopefully before long there will be a detailed review for everyone to see.

again thank you all for everything it is that you do.
