Trying to join but having problems

Postby Tom Hood » Mon May 02, 2011 7:38 pm

Hello everyone.

So I'm really interested in joining ARMA, I love the professionalism and dedication you show. So I filled out an application form on the website in the beginning of January. After a couple of months had past I had heard no news so I used the "contact us" form to inquire about my application. I still have heard nothing.

It said on the application form not to resend it so I have not done that. Can anyone provide me with any help?

The ARMA Director gets flooded with emails and applications and sometimes it takes a while to wade through them all; we're a fairly big organization. If you still haven't heard from him then use the email address at the bottom right corner of the page and email him directly to request the status of your application. Sometimes you just have to be persistent.

OK, thank you for your reply. My concern was that I might have fallen through the cracks because it's been over four months now and when I applied it said it would take six to eight weeks.

Tom,

I had a similar experience. I submitted an application this last Summer. After 4-5 months I received an email saying they were considering the application. I've yet to hear back.

There are quite a few groups in FL. An excellent resource is this Training Partner Finder

It has all the ARMA groups as well as nearly every other HEMA group
