New scholar in Minnesota

Postby Nathan McCartney » Mon Dec 26, 2011 5:16 pm

Hey everyone. I just found the ARMA website two or three weeks ago and since have become increasingly serious about studying historic European swordsmanship, especially since this great site has so much helpful info and resources even to non-members.

SO, hopefully I will be another contributing, informative member and if anyone else lives in MN I'm always happy to get together. Maybe even do some sparring if I can. =)

Welcome Nathan!

If you live in the 'Twin Cities' area, there is an ARMA Study Group there!
For more information, you can contact their Study Group Coordinator, Mr. Steve Pangerl at: s_pangerl@yahoo.com or check out the groups facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/ARMA-Twi ... 3360418647

Good luck!

Right on. I was really hoping there'd be a group around me that I could hook up with if I get selected for membership. I appreciate it.

I suggest setting up a visit (if you are able to travel) with the Pangerls (who are very cool people!) if you can for a class and see if we are what you are looking for. Good luck!

Yeah I sent Steve Pangerl an email since I didn't see another way to get ahold of him but I haven't heard back from him yet. If they still meet in White Bear Lake it shouldn't be a problem for me to get out there.
