South Eastern North Carolina

Postby Kyle Hughes » Thu Aug 04, 2011 12:01 am

Hi all, My name is Kyle Hughes and I'm living in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Its about half way between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. I was hoping to find someone in the surrounding area that was already participating with ARMA. I've been interested in Historical European Martial Arts since high school, but have been hesitant to make the jump. Is there anyone out there within an hour's drive that is studying this art? Thank you.

Have you tried contacting Erik Rankin from the Practice Partners page?

ARMA Triad, North Carolina
Erik Rankin
erik.rankins@gmail.com.

I'm not sure how close he is to you, but even if he isn't close enough for weekly visits he's probably close enough so the you could meet up every few months.

Thanks for that, I just emailed him. The Triad is not close to me, but he may know someone who is. The Charleston group is probably just as close if not a little closer, as I live in Brunswick County between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

I'm in Columbia, SC which is probably a bit too far as well.

I, too, am interested in trying out ARMA. Anyone within an hour or so of the Charlotte metro?

Seth, please change your username in your profile settings to your first and last name in accordance with our forum rules. I shouldn't have to post this twice in the same thread.
