First one is Hickory with walnut accents. About 42 inches long overall. Pob is 4.25 from guard. Blade is 1.75 at its widest. Just make it longer and maybe a little wider for an adult.
Second one I used a piece of sugar maple that was laying around. It wasn't going to work for arrow shafts so I figured it would become a waster for the youngest son. It has walnut accesnts too. I can't remember for sure but I believe it is about 32 inches long. It makes for a right handy arming sword for me, a little longer would be good. But I comes right up to the 6yr old's breast bone. It's point of balance is about 4.5 inches from the guard.
Both pommels are drilled out and weighted with .44 magnum lead bullets.
Then he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
