I was talking with a few friends about what their favorite type of medieval weapon was and why. Not so much because of its general use or effectiveness, but because thats what works best for them.
Unfortunately since I only have a longsword to practice with I have to say thats my favorite weapon as far as what I've actually handeled, but obviously thats subject to change in the future.
So whats your favorite weapon to use and why? Again this isn't a "what weapon is greatest" question, just which one are you happiest using.
