Last year we called the event Fechtschule Scotland, and this year the event will be bigger and better!

HEMAC Glasgow will be an exciting event on the calendar for longsword enthusiasts. This will be no ordinary HEMA event: it will be focussed solely on the German longsword discipline, looking in depth at facets of the art that do not normally receive much attention.

There will be concurrent sessions for beginners and advanced participants, and we will also be hosting debates about controversial HEMA subjects! If you like nothing more than a spirited debate with friends, accompanied by sparring and lessons with some of the best instructors in the UK, finishing with plenty of time in the pub, then this is the event for you!

More information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. If you would like to stay abreast of developments on the Facebook event page then please have a look at it here: https://www.facebook.com/events/505709312785853/

The website for the HEMAC Glasgow 2013 event is now up and running! The website provides the link to the booking page on Corsair's Wares, where you may book your attendance at this event.

If you study German longsword then this is THE event in the UK to attend to develop a deeper insight into this fantastic discipline! Or if you are a complete beginner and would like to dabble with this longsword business, the event will be a perfect introductory course for you. Come along and have fun.
