ARM Study Groups in Portland OR

Postby alaricbrown » Wed Jan 30, 2013 12:46 pm

Hello, My name is Alaric Brown and I'm very interested in joining a Study Group in the Portland Oregon area. I tried to email the Study Group at armapdx@yahoo.com but all of my emails are returned as "undeliverable". Does anybody know if there is a Study Group in the Portland OR area? If not, is there anybody here that would like to start one? Any info and or help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Alaric

That study group hasn't been listed on our page for quite some time now, so I'm not sure how you found them, but that group no longer exists. We do have a member from Houston who I believe is still attending college in Oregon, so I'll let him know you're looking and see if he can contact you.

Stacy,
Thanks for getting back to me. I think I found the old website here with a Google search. Too bad there is no longer a Portland study group. That would be great if somebody contacted me who lives in the area, maybe we could start another study group here. Thanks again for the help.

Hey, I'm also around the Portland area and was interested in learning more about this whole group. I've never been around anything of this nature before and wanted to know what I would be looking at doing to get started in this.

Hello,
I'm still really new in my training here in Portland. I tracked down a group called Drei Wunder and have gone to several of their training sessions and so far I like it. They alternate training on the weekends, so one weekned is weapons training (longsword) and the next is wrestling/grappling. One of the members Brent said you can email him with any questions you may have about training when you're out here in September. His email is:
blambell@gmail.com

There are currently four groups in the Portland area. This Group Finder is a great resource for finding groups. It contains most of the currently known organizations and study groups and is constantly updated.

The above link is for the Western US. The Main Page of the group finder has links to the rest of the world.
