Groups around or in Savannah Ga

Ive searched the forums and seen there was talk over the past years, about a group near Savannah. Was a group ever formed in or near Savannah? I am currently located in Bloomingdale and a trip to Atlanta or Athens is a time consuming drive I can not afford at this time. I figured I would ask before I signed up for a membership, sorry if this question has been asked alot.
