Questions from a new student of WMA

Postby Daniel_Vince » Tue Apr 13, 2004 10:06 am

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Daniel Vince. For the past several months I've been practicing the longsword (mainly following Ringeck) on my own, first with a dowel and later with a waster.

First question: I was wondering if there were anyone in the NYC area willing to work with me. Obviously, I can only get so far working techniques on my own. I have a few other questions regarding what I've read, but I think I will give them their own thread.

Second question: A week ago I submitted an application for membership to the ARMA. Please forgive my youthful (20) impatience, but I merely wish to know how long it typically takes to process and evaluate applications. I also wish to confirm that the application was received, as I've had problems (to say the least) with the local mail recently.

Thank you in advance,
Daniel Vince

Hi Daniel,

I'll have our NY area Study Groups email you.

We've gotten a ton of new applications in the last two months and many are still be ing reviewed or processed. Please stay patient. Thanks.
