Thanks for the effort Nigel. I really hope it takes off. If it becomes a lightening rod for controversy, then you'll know folks are reading it. 8)

Sort of a Catch 22 I know.

I used to read The Journal of Asian Martial Arts. It was far and away better than Black Belt or Taekwondo Times. Of course such a thing would always end up being at the mercy of the politics of the editor, and even if said editor put issues like that aside, there would always be the accusations as such when a paper was refused.

I think I understand what you wanted; I found this site a while back. It's OK, maybe what you are looking for or maybe not. Hope it helps.

That is basically what I was asking about, but I'm not so sure about the editors. The purely academic articles may be fine. I'll have to give it a bit of perusing.

Good luck to Nigel and The Pell. That seems promising.

The JWMA has some things that I like, and then some other things that I do not like.

Yea its pretty good but nothing that you can't find here on ARMA. However, it is a journal, and so can be cited as a proper resource if that's what Will needs.

I'm not really after something to cite, although that would be useful at times. I only brought it up because my wife regularly gets the journals Science and Bioscience in the mail and frankly, I'm jealous. :(

HAHAHA. I thought you really needed it for a paper if you were taking classes or maybe for an article or book. But whatever your reasons its there if you need it.
