If you like I can put you in touch with a buddy of mine who has been looking for a forum in which to practice the Rapier. I told him about ARMA and he expressed Interest.

Although I'm more interested in longswords it couldn't hurt. The more the merrier right? Just as long as he lives close enough. I'm on the Illinois side of the river, which is still pretty close to St. Louis, but it's much easier for people to recognize the name St. Louis than some middle sized town. :)

Well, even in a city like San Diego I can't get a sparring partner. The Orange County Group was gracious enough to invite me to practice with them though, which I might take them up on.

I'll Give him a call and see if he'd still be interested.

Chris,
It's a bit of a drive, but we are only 4 hours north of you. So, if you're ever headed north feel free to get in contact with us!

Thank you for the offer. It still might be a while before I can manage the trip but it could work out. It would certainly be easier than driving to Indiana.

I'll get back to you on this. It might be a while but I won't forget.

Greetings, gentlemen.

I don't know if this would help you or not, but I wanted to just offer that I belong to a club in Saint Louis that studies German Longsword, among other things. I actually live in Illinois and travel to St. Louis weekly for class, so there's a good chance travel arrangements could be made (car pool) for others. Please feel free to drop me an email or something if anyone is interested.
