Stacy

On another forum I was part of what started out as a nice friendly discussion on JC's Krump interpretation. As usual select people pulled the discussion into a flame game and even include what I took as a threat against me.

Ben,

I did not say I'm not interested in other discussions. I simply don't have time to follow and comment on every other HEMA forum out there, though other members may. The ARMA forum is our public interface and I try to maintain my presence here, but everybody took the discussion to other forums and said nothing on our forum thread that started it. Since you posted links, I may take a look at those discussions later if I have time. However, I limit my discussion to this forum so that I will still have time for other things besides arguing on forums. I understand if those from other groups do the same as I do to manage their spare time, but for those like Vincent and Roger who already post on our forum regularly, why discuss other things here with us, but not this subject?

As far as I'm concerned it's mainly because discussions started elsewhere and pulling another forum (there were three already ;) ) into the fray seemed like a waste of time...

At that point it's best for everyone to just read through the threads Ben linked to and form an opinion. There was not much to add. I guess if you want to address some of the objections raised you can do it in the thread on this forum, the information can be passed on...

Regards,

Fair enough.
