Postby Nick Hames » Thu Apr 06, 2006 10:55 pm

Does anyone know any or can direct me to a manual that can show me some?

Hi Nick,

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, with minimal authority, that there are none (or, if they are, they are very, very limited).

I assure you that a dagger in one hand is more lethal and more effective than one in each, due to the utility and efficacy of grappling, etc., with the off hand.

HOWEVER, if you were to study sword-and-dagger and then combine the principles and left-handed techniques from that combination and integrate them into your right-handed knife fight you'd probably end up with something reasonably functional.

I agree- if that kind of thing were efficient we probably would have seen something in the VAST ammount of dagger material that is out there. Apparently Legolas never got the memo

But then, our friend elf didn't use dual daggers, but rather flimsy knives/falchions/messer. If I'd been an Uruk, I'd just have hit him below the knee, while taking the hit on my armor. Good thing they don't breed them with brains.
