We used it to cut jugs, coconuts and a couple of pig shoulders and legs. All in all we made around a couple hundred cuts with it against hard targets. Against the heavy bone after a few tries I wasn't worried about the sword anymore, and was beating on the shoulders like they were a piñata. <img src="/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />
After that we used it against a dished 14 gauge buckler, ruining the buckler. Up to now we had done absolutely nothing to the sword. The buckler flattened the edge just a little. I thought it had rolled the edge a little but it was mostly metal shavings from the buckler. The edge could be cleaned up with a kitchen steel in my opinion... but we are not going to do anything to it except clean the pig off of it and send it back to Gus for him to evaluate.





All in all, this is the best feeling and cutting sword I have held. You can tell it made for a martial artist, not for somebody to cut coke bottles. I finally found one that will out perform a $5 machette. <img src="/forum/images/icons/cool.gif" alt="" />
