Quebec Combat

Postby Thomas Jancarik » Wed Jul 19, 2006 2:09 am

Hello, firstly I would like thank the fine people at ARMA for maintaning a very useful site for all martial artists. This is my first post so please be nice if I say something wrong. I was just wondering if there are any practitioners of Medieval/Renaissance martial arts living in Quebec; preferebly around Montreal. Im looking for a training partner, so if you're interested please let me know. On a related note, every sunday on the Mount Mont-Royal people of all ages meet for combat with padded weapons. Sadly the quality of these fights are often pathetic but its still good fun and there are some good fighters. Hope to see you there!

Blessed Be

I recommend posting to our official practice partner search page on http://www.frappr.com/arma. Looks like the closest to you so far is someone in Ottawa (not exactly a short commute but close enough). Good luck in finding some like-minded individuals to spar with.
