Does anyone know if there is a translation of Ghisliero available anywhere?

None of which I am aware. I've read the text and can probably answer and specific questions you have. This is an interesting text, but not a revolutionary or even primary one. What I find most interesting is his use of pieces of two or three different naming systems for guards: Bolognese, Vadi, and Agrippa (e.g. Guardia di Testa, Guardia di Falcone, and Quarta, respectively).

I think I've only seen one version, so I don't know about any differences (except that I know that not all of them have images--although they have blank spots for them).

Thanks guys. I really liked the images, but my Italiano is rather feeble (consisting of how to buy things, find my way home and talk about hitting people with swords).
