Volta, Key and Scale - The Vaage Paper Released

Postby Webmaster » Sun Mar 14, 2010 9:18 pm

We've talked about it for months and now it's finally here - John Clement's monumental paper on Renaissance footwork is now available in the ARMA Spotlight:

We're not kidding about it being monumental either, it's over 100 pages long, and that's the short version. Here John presents the results of years' worth of evidence gathering, experimentation and testing to show clues long missed in the historical sources which will redefine the way we understand Renaissance footwork. John Clements and all of us in ARMA feel that this research is too important and fundamental to the advancement of the study of Renaissance Martial Arts to keep this to ourselves now that we are confident in our interpretations. We expect and welcome a lively debate over these findings and hope that all who study and represent our Art to the world will benefit from them.
