Weapon questions

Postby Erik Luken » Sun Jul 11, 2010 3:26 pm

I am a game designer of role playing and wargames. I came across an article on this site which gave me a partial answer to what I'm looking for.

I am looking for historical references to weapon weights (not just swords). Also armor weights would be of interest too.

If anyone has, or knows of such a reference, I'd appreciate a nudge in the proper direction.

For weapons there are some tables here:

We've got two articles related to sword weights in case you missed the other one:

http://www.thearma.org/essays/2HGS.html

Nice link there, Vincent.

I saw the first article, which is what led me to post here. Thanks for both of the links.

One of my high school friends is the assistant arms master at the NY Met Museum, so I'm trying to get info out of him too.
