Denver sparring partners wanted

Postby Andrew Weems » Tue Sep 27, 2011 11:02 pm

I'm a four year member of the ARMA who recently moved to Denver, CO from Austin, TX, and am looking for sparring partners and potential members to study with in the mile high city. My main focuses are on combat wrestling, knife/dagger work, and longsword. Practice consists primarily of sparring and adversarial partner drilling, though a significant amount of technique drilling and solo drilling is done as well. Ideally, I'd like to form a stable study group and be able to meet 2-4 times a week on evenings and weekends, but less frequent gatherings would work as well. This is your chance to get involved in a great organization, give me a shout if you're interested.

Sent you a PM. There are a few established groups in the area, so finding sparring partners shouldn't be a problem. Getting a new study group started is another matter, but at least the area is already 'primed' and you know there is interest in the Art.

Congrats on the move, and best wishes on getting a study group up and running over there!
