UC Study Group

Postby Hayden Lapiska » Thu Feb 28, 2013 10:14 pm

Hello Scholars,

It has been over a year since I have had any official dealings with ARMA as I had to move from Texas, where I tried to get to the DFW group when I could to Ohio for college. Of course I have still been trying to keep up to date, lurking about the forums and doing drills myself, and just staving of atrophy in general but I'm tiring of that.
I have no access to a car and even if I did, there appear to be no study groups in the entirety of Ohio as is. I'm getting antsy. I need some action.
Basically, I'm just looking for advice on what to do. Should I try to form an unofficial study group? I'm sure there are other individuals who would be interested, but probably none with any sort of experience, at least of ARMA quality. And then, of course the problem of fantasy folk, larpers, and bullshido practitioners.
Should I just try to contact an existing club here and attempt to integrate, perhaps the fencers or kendo people would be interested in trying new things.
Its just daunting starting from scratch and any advice would be helpful.

Thanks
With highest regards,
Hayden Lapiska
