Hello, I'm biginer who looking for help.

Good day,

I'm a student interested in Historical fencing. I had visited Seoul study group once for learning. I enjoied that time.
However, I'm student in the New York city, so i have to find study group that allow me to visit and join the training, and also gather near NYC for more learning during my semester. Anyone would like recommend to me a study group that near NYC?

And one question,
I found

this site, and this group teach german longsword, but i'm not sure is it good group or not, may i try these classes? or not? Do anyone have imformation about this class?

I don't know that one, but I've heard good things about NYHFA ( http://www.newyorklongsword.com/ ) if you don't mind a bit of upstate travel.

Tristan, who is the teacher named in SwordClassNY, was part of NYHFA and moved back to the city - this is just him setting up his own thing, as far as I can tell. He's the one in the middle of the lower-right picture on the front page of NYHFA. I've met him, and he strikes me as competent; probably a good teacher.

Sounds nice, maybe i should try this class for next weekend.

My name is Ryan and I live in Central NY. I know you said you were looking for something close to the city but as far as I can tell I am the only active member that lives in NY. So maybe we can arrange to meet half way or something one day? Feel free to message me or email me and we can see what we can get going. I would even just love to discuss the Art with some one in the area.

Sat or Sun?
But is there any place that we can practice in the city?

i will have time during weekends and im not sure other days.
