I was wondering if Ubisoft got their combat from the historic manuals. What do you all think? Does the fighting look like anything from the treatises? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I would say no from what I have seen.

There are SOME finishing moves and other little concepts, particularly in AC:II and AC:B, that kinda sorta look like some of the plays from the manuals.

Other than that, its typical Hollywood Flynning

To summarize in brief; almost nothing of the fighting in Assassins Creed is particularly realistic. So no, not really.
