Remembering Joachim Meyer: A tribute & memorial

Postby John Farthing » Mon Feb 24, 2014 9:38 am

On this very day in 1570, Joachim Meyer published Gründtliche Beschreibung der kunst des Fechten! Sadly, exactly one year to the day later, Joachim Meyer died suddenly in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. In tribute to this great sixteenth century German Fencing Master we are encouraging everyone to make lots of posts commemorating Meyer and his work, and please consider using the following hashtags to make your Meyer related posts easier to find! #RIPMeyer #MeyerMemorial
